Politecnico di Torino

Politecnico di Torino (POLITO) is one of the top technical universities in Europe for engineering, architecture, and design studies, strongly committed to collaboration with industry. POLITO has been pioneering transdisciplinary research at the interface of cities and academia in urban sustainability for several decades. The Interuniversity Department of Regional and Urban Studies and Planning (DIST) is a leading department in the areas of transformation and governance processes within a territory, in its physical, economic, social, political, and cultural aspects and their interrelationships. The Department of Management and Production Engineering (DIGEP) offers expertise in the relationship between systems of production of goods and services and the economic environment in which they operate. For the GREEN-INC project, POLITO will lead the tasks dealing with the assessment of effectiveness of Inclusive Climate Actions. Specifically, POLITO will develop an integrated monitoring and evaluation framework to assess the effectiveness of ICAs performance from NbS in terms of environmental, social, economic, and circularity aspects in each partner city. Moreover, POLITO will develop an innovative digital spatial platform to support the planning and monitoring of NbS in European cities.
